There are several transport options for getting to Estádio Da Luz:

  • By metro: The nearest stations are Colégio Militar or Luz. Take the blue line and get off at one of these stations. From there, the stadium is a short 850-metre walk away.
  • By bus: The Colégio Militar bus terminal is the nearest stop. Several lines, such as 726, 729, 765, 767, 786, 750 and 799, operate on this route, with timetables from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • By train: Benfica or Sete-Rios stations are the closest. From Lisbon-Oriente station, you can take a direct train to Benfica. After a short walk of about 15-20 minutes, you will soon be in front of the Black Panther statue, the bronze statue of Eusébio da Silva Ferreira located at gate 17.
  • By bicycle: You can rent a bike in the centre of Lisbon and take a bike tour. To give you an idea, it is about 4.5 kilometres from Eduardo VII Park to the stadium, which takes about 20 minutes at a regular pace.
  • By car: This is not the most recommended option due to traffic and associated costs. However, if you decide to go by car, take R. De Dona Estefânia to Av. Casal Ribeiro, then continue along Av. Lusíada and take the ramp towards IC17/CRIL/Pontinha/A9/Crel from R. Ernâni Lopes. Take the 2nd exit at Rotunda Cosme Damião to reach the stadium.
