The place has been open since 2009 and offers an immersive experience in the aquatic world, educating visitors about marine life and promoting ocean conservation. All this while providing entertainment for its visitors.

The tour takes in various themed areas representing specific marine habitats. These include the rivers and streams area , the tropical reefs area , the kingdom of Salacia and the Ocean Grotto. Just under 50 minutes by car from Porto is Magikland, one of the best-known theme parks in northern Portugal. Open since 1997, this park attracts many families, especially those with teenagers and children, as its attractions are specially designed for them.

Inside this entertainment complex, you can explore various themed areas, designed to envelop visitors in a world full of adventure, fantasy and magic. Among the highlights are the Enchanted Forest, the Western Town and Pirate Island.

Just over an hour from the centre of Porto is Diverlanhoso Park. This recreation centre has been operating since 2000 and offers an extensive list of options for recreation, entertainment and outdoor adventure.

Pena Aventura Park is just over an hour's drive from the centre of Porto. This place is full of attractions to test your nerves and was opened to the public in 2007, since when it has become one of the favourite options for adrenaline lovers.

The first thing that stands out about the park is the natural environment that surrounds it, as it is located in the heart of the Alvão Natural Park, in the Trás-os-Montes region. Inside, you will find the famous 1,500-metre-high zip line that can reach speeds of 130 km/h, while offering beautiful panoramic views of the valley.

There are also paintball areas, where you can engage in epic group battles. There are also off-road karts to challenge your driving skills , and canoeing and rafting trips on nearby rivers. If you are looking for a more peaceful experience, you can take part in a guided walk or bike ride along the park's trails.

Alternatively, you can stay in the bungalows of this large complex or go camping. Furthermore, if you visit Porto in October and decide to visit this park, you can take advantage of the Halloween-themed activities, which usually offer a very interesting spooky adventure experience.

10. Perlim

If you visit Porto at Christmas, you should know that it is the perfect opportunity to visit the Perlim theme park. This is a seasonal facility located about 30 km from Porto, which has been open to the public since 2008.

This park is usually open from November to January each year. To this end, the Castle of Santa Maria da Feira is transformed into an enchanted kingdom with all the Christmas fantasy, mixed with some folkloric elements from Portugal.

Inside the castle, you can see themed areas such as Santa's House, the Ice Kingdom and the Enchanted Forest. A characteristic feature of the park is interactive storytelling, so that visitors can meet the characters from the stories and interact with them.
