Step by Step

Barcelona and Gaudí are inseparable, and this guided tour is the ideal way to understand his legacy through three of his most representative houses. In a small group, you'll tour the city while discovering how the architect transformed architecture into living art, full of colour, organic forms and symbolism.

The experience begins at Casa Vicens, Gaudí's first great residential work. Here you will stroll through his garden and visit the main floor, appreciating the origin of his style and his inspiration in nature and oriental art.

The tour continues to La Pedrera (Casa Milà), the last civil building completed by Gaudí. You'll enter the interior courtyards, the tenant's flat - furnished as it was at the time - and its famous rooftop terrace, from where you'll enjoy one of the best panoramic views of Barcelona.

The last stop is the spectacular Casa Batlló, where your guide will explain the symbolism of its undulating façade and dragon-inspired rooftop. You'll visit the main lobby and the main floor, authentic jewels of Catalan Modernisme.

Tour itinerary:

  • Casa Vicens: garden, ground floor and first floor.
  • La Pedrera (Casa Milà): courtyards, tenant's flat and roof terrace.
  • Casa Batlló: façade, main entrance hall and main floor.

For those who want to complete the experience, there is the additional option (in English only) of visiting the Sagrada Familia in the afternoon, extending the tour to about 7 hours in total.
