Step by Step

SkyView takes visitors to the top of the Avicii Arena to see Stockholm from a perspective that combines height, design and comfort. The tour begins with an informative video that reviews the architectural transformation of the venue - reinforced with tons of steel and rails - and prepares visitors for the aerial experience. Then it's on to one of Sweden's state-of-the-art glass-enclosed gondolas, where up to 12 people slowly ascend and enjoy an immersive view of the city.

As the gondola rises 130 metres above sea level, the cityscape unfolds: islands, canals, rooftops and parks are clearly visible from all angles thanks to the spherical design of the cabin. The smooth ascent and descent are designed to allow you to admire Stockholm without rushing, and the large glass surfaces ensure unobstructed visibility.

The Avicii Arena - previously known by other names - underwent a major structural modification to accommodate SkyView. Its exterior was reinforced with 42 metric tonnes of steel and 70 tonnes of additional rails, transforming the façade into the attraction's ascent rail. That engineering is felt in the safety, fluidity and elegance of the experience.
