Step by Step

Start your adventure at Little Man Coffee, where you'll be greeted with all the necessary equipment: bike, helmet and waterproof poncho in case it rains. Once you're ready, we'll start the ride to Cardiff Castle, where a brief but comprehensive tour will explain its evolution from Roman times to the present day.

Our next destination is Cathays Park, the majestic Edwardian Civic Centre which houses the National Museum, City Hall and Cardiff Crown Court. Here you'll enjoy a unique architectural panorama before heading to the Principality Stadium, the temple of Welsh rugby, to learn about its sporting and social heritage.

We continue cycling to the Cardiff Bay Wetland Reserve, a wetland oasis that connects the city centre with the bay. The contrast between the urban environment and nature will surprise you. From there we will approach the Wales Millennium Centre, a cultural icon of the Welsh scene, with its spectacular façade and artistic programme.

The tour continues to the Senedd, home of the Welsh Parliament, where you will understand the political process and the peculiarities of Welsh self-government. Halfway through the tour, we'll make a brief stop at the Norwegian Church Arts Centre, a former Norwegian seamen's church converted into a creative space, for a coffee and to settle down.

Finally, we'll arrive at Cardiff Market, a Victorian covered market where you can try an authentic Welsh cake and, if you wish, explore the other stalls and local flavours on your own.
