Exploria Stadium in Orlando will host two Copa América group stage matches. The first will see Chile take on the fifth-placed CONCACAF team, which will be either Canada or Trinidad and Tobago, on 29 June at 8 p.m. on the third matchday of Group A.

The stadium will also host the match between Bolivia and Panama, which will close Group C on 1 July at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. This match is crucial, as both teams can reach the final match of the initial stage with a chance to qualify for the knockout phase.

Both matches pit teams from CONMEBOL and CONCACAF, the two confederations participating in the championship, against each other, so you can experience the passion of fans from very different countries at the stadium. Furthermore, both Group A and Group C are very competitive, so every match counts when it comes to qualifying.

Orlando is not one of the main venues for the 2024 Copa América, but CONMEBOL and CONCACAF teams will face each other at Exploria Stadium on key dates to qualify for the knockout stage. Chile, Bolivia, Panama and the winner of the play-off to be played in March, which will give Canada a place, will play at this stadium.

Chile

Chile is coming off a slump and has failed to qualify for the last two World Cups, but the Copa América brings back fond memories. In 2015, it won for the first time in its history, and in 2016, it became two-time champions, precisely in the United States, where it defeated Argentina in the final. Now they will share Group A in the 2024 edition, and you have the opportunity to purchase tickets to see Chile in Orlando.

  • Number of Copa América appearances: 40 editions.
  • Best result in the Copa América... two-time champions, most recently in 2016.
  • Last result in the Copa América... quarter-finalist in the 2021 edition.

Bolivia

Bolivia is a historic Copa América team and even won the tournament in 1964, but in recent years it has failed to make an impact and its latest performances have not been good. However, the United States brings back fond memories, as it was there that Bolivia played its last World Cup to date in 1994. You still have time to book your tickets to see Bolivia take on Panama.

  • Number of Copa América appearances... 23 editions.
  • Best result in the Copa América... champions in 1964.
  • Last result in the Copa América... eliminated in the first round in 2021.

Panama

Panama has only played in the Copa América once and failed to make it past the first round. In this edition, it will seek to break the spell and repeat the feats of other CONCACAF teams, such as Honduras, which achieved a historic third place in the 2001 edition held in Colombia. Reserve your tickets to see Panama vs Bolivia and don't miss this historic moment.

  • Number of Copa América appearances... 1 edition.
  • Best result in the Copa América... first phase, in 2016.
  • Last result in Copa América... first phase in 2016.

Canada

Canada was invited to participate in the 2011 edition but decided to decline the offer, citing security concerns. Since then, it has not come close to playing in the Copa América until now, when it will compete in the play-offs against Trinidad and Tobago at one of the best moments in its history, after having competed in the 2022 World Cup with several European football stars in its squad. If it wins this match, attendees will be able to watch Canada's match against Chile.

  • Number of Copa América appearances... none.
  • Best result in the Copa América... debutant.
  • Last Copa América result... debutant.

Which stadium will host the 2024 Copa América in Orlando?

Orlando will host the Copa América at Exploria Stadium, a venue inaugurated in 2017 with a capacity of 25,500 spectators. It is one of the smallest stadiums among those that will host the tournament and, except for the 2020 Concacaf Champions League final, has not hosted any major competitions. But now you can enjoy Copa América tickets at this venue.

Exploria Stadium is home to Orlando City SC, one of the MLS's permanent franchises. Although the team is often overshadowed by the Orlando Magic's NBA games in terms of the city's sporting scene, it has grown significantly in recent years and continues to sign big names to become a major player in the American league.

What are the best seats at Exploria Stadium?

Exploria Stadium has a square design with two tiers of stands, with the lower seats offering a wider view and closer proximity to the pitch. In the upper tier , you can get more seats at lower prices, although you will also find boxes and special seats that offer additional food and beverage services.

Just keep in mind that to get the best seats at affordable prices, you'll need to be quick to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. In the United States , ticket prices are dynamic, so the best option is to buy in advance to secure your spot and lock in the price, which tends to increase for last-minute purchases.

How to get to Exploria Stadium?

  • By bus... you can get there from downtown Orlando on bus lines 8, 15, 20, 21, 25, 36 and 51 in approximately 45 minutes.
  • By car... you can get there via the FL-408 motorway in about 15 minutes to the stadium car park area.

Tips for attending a 2024 Copa América match in Orlando

  • High tourist traffic: June and July in Orlando coincide with the summer months, which are also the city's peak season. So keep in mind that tourist traffic will be very high when purchasing tickets for the Copa América.
  • Limited capacity: Exploria Stadium is one of the 2024 Copa América venues with the smallest capacity, so the 25,500 seats for the Chile vs. Canada or Trinidad and Tobago match and the Bolivia vs. Panama match will sell out quickly. Florida also has another venue in Miami, which is where the tournament final will also be played, so if you are unlucky with tickets for the matches in Orlando, you can try your luck here.
  • Evening schedule: Due to the high temperatures in the region during the summer, the matches will be played in the evening, so you can make the most of your visit to the city by enjoying other activities throughout the day.
  • Bus, the best way to get there: This is the best way to get to the stadium, although this mode of transport may be somewhat congested during Copa América match days, so I advise you to allow enough time to get to the stadium in advance. Keep this in mind if you plan to visit Orlando by car and need to use the stadium car park.

The Copa América coincides with summer in Orlando, so there will be many activities you can do in the city while the world's oldest national team tournament is being played, including participating in the best city tours that will allow you to discover an alternative and natural side of the region and all its surrounding attractions.

Enjoy a theme park

The city is a paradise of fun, and among the best theme parks in Orlando you can visit Universal Studios, discover the Crayola Experience, tour Disney World, and also enjoy water parks, including Aquatica, Island H2O, and Legoland Florida. Keep in mind, however, that these attractions are very popular and tickets to Universal Studios sell out quickly.

Attend a show in Orlando

If you plan to stay for several days after enjoying your Copa América tickets, you can marvel at the best shows in the city. These include the performances at Mango's Tropical Cafe and, my favourite, those by Cirque du Soleil. Don't hesitate to book tickets to see the Cirque du Soleil show.

Explore the Orlando area

Orlando is not only a spectacle in itself due to the large number of attractions it offers, but also an ideal place to use as a base for discovering the surrounding area once you have enjoyed your Copa América tickets. On full-day excursions from the city, you can:
