Step by Step
Your safari starts early, when a 4×4 vehicle picks you up at the door of your accommodation in Livingstone. As you make your way into Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, your guide will brief you on white rhino conservation and the history of the reserve's protection programmes.
Once inside the park, you will stop with the game viewer to switch to walking mode. Here you will begin a safety walk, escorted by your guide and an armed ranger, who know every nook and cranny and how to get close to the rhinos without disturbing them.
When you reach the viewing area, you will be able to see the rhinos in their natural habitat, at a safe distance of 10 metres. Take the opportunity to photograph their imposing horns and imposing presence, while your guide explains their behaviour and feeding habits.
After the observation, you will return to the vehicle to enjoy local snacks and fresh water, and share impressions with the group. On the way back, you will have time to ask questions, learn more about the wildlife and plan your next Zambian adventure.
