Step by Step

Immerse yourself in a bird sanctuary emerging from the heart of the Atlantic Forest on this self-guided tour of the Parque das Aves, located on the access road to the famous Iguaçu Falls. From your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu or Puerto Iguaçu, a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up and take you in just a few minutes to the entrance of the park, where your natural adventure begins.

Along 4 hectares of jungle trails, you can enter giant 2.5 m high aviaries that reproduce different habitats: Pantanal, Amazon rainforest, wetlands and more. Watch ibis, herons, toucans and scavengers on the wing, and learn about their adaptations from the information panels in each area.

The park doesn't just protect birds: it's also home to rescued mammals, reptiles such as anacondas and boas, and a butterfly sanctuary where hundreds of lepidoptera flit among the flowers and ferns. Learn about the conservation and rescue efforts that make this place a world reference.

After walking the walkways and viewing niches, you will have some free time to visit the park's restaurant or enjoy refreshments (not included). Afterwards, you will return to your hotel, taking unforgettable memories and photographs with you.
