Budapest Hop-on Hop-off Big Bus Tour

The Big Bus sightseeing bus is a convenient way to get around Budapest’s main attractions whilst enjoying a panoramic view of the city. You can complete the full circuit without getting off, or use the stops to create your own itinerary.

All three tickets cover the red route, which connects iconic sites on both banks of the Danube. During the journey, you’ll pass close to the Hungarian Parliament, St Stephen’s Basilica, the Great Synagogue, Heroes’ Square, the Central Market Hall and other notable landmarks in the capital.

The Discover ticket allows you to use the service for 24 hours. The Essential ticket extends the validity to 48 hours, whilst the Explore ticket offers 72 hours to explore the city at a more leisurely pace and spread your visits over three days.

All options include a guided walking tour of Budapest, ideal for discovering some of its buildings, squares and stories in greater detail. You’ll also get a 30% discount on a Danube river cruise, which must be booked and paid for separately.

Validity begins when you activate the ticket on the booked day. You can start your journey at any of the designated stops and, from that moment, hop on and off as many times as you like during the 24, 48 or 72 hours corresponding to your chosen option.
