Step by Step

Immerse yourself in the essence of Utrecht, a city that combines medieval tradition and modern life, with a completely private tour tailored to your interests. You'll start at Vredenburgplein, the bustling heart of the city centre, next to the iconic Manneken Pis statue, where your guide will be waiting for you with a white flag to facilitate the meeting.

From there, you'll stroll along the Oudegracht, the inner canal that dates back to Roman times and is home to more than 700 former wharf cellars now converted into shops and terrace cafés. You will discover how these cellars allowed merchants to unload directly from the ships.

You will arrive at the Pandhof Domkerk, a haven of peace that was once the garden of a 15th century monastery. You will admire its floral nooks and crannies and the silent atmosphere, witness to centuries of history and even cattle markets and fairs.

The highlight is the Dom Tower, the highest bell tower in the Netherlands. Although no ascent is included, your guide will explain the fascinating saga of the tower and the unfinished cathedral, fragmented since its collapse in 1674.

If you wish, at the end you can continue with a tasting of three beers at the Stadskasteel Oudaen, a 13th century city castle converted into a brewery and restaurant. There, you can share your experience and stay to explore the place further on your own.
