The experience begins at La Pedrera, one of the most recognisable buildings on Passeig de Gràcia and the last major private residence designed by Antoni Gaudí. Its stone façade, devoid of straight lines, is reminiscent of a landscape shaped by waves and is complemented by wrought-iron balconies that resemble plant forms.

During the tour, you’ll explore the inner courtyards, designed to distribute light and ventilation throughout the building. You’ll also visit an apartment furnished to resemble a bourgeois home from the early 20th century, where you can imagine what daily life was like for its former inhabitants.

Another of the most striking spaces is the loft, formed by a succession of brick arches reminiscent of the interior of a large animal. From there, you’ll reach the famous roof terrace, where the chimneys, ventilation towers and stairwells take on sculptural forms that have made this place one of Barcelona’s iconic landmarks.

The tour continues at Casa Vicens, considered Gaudí’s first major work. Its façade combines stone, brick, tiles and wrought iron, creating a composition rich in colour and geometry. The oriental influences and plant-inspired motifs reveal the early ideas with which the architect began to move away from traditional styles.
